Smashing programme on BBC4 about The Old Grey Whistle Test. They had about five seconds of Tim Buckley on a little while ago!

Has Tim Buckley any relation to Jeff Buckley?

Tim was Jeff's dad. Folk rock singer with a remarkable voice who died of a heroin overdose in the mid seventies.

Thank you, Roymondo, I'll try to check him out.
Just put on Jeff Buckley> Hallelujah (think I posted that previously but it is such a good song . And I really want to hear Leonard Cohen's original version.)

JB's 'Hallelujah' is beautiful. Great song, great cover.
If you're going to try Tim Buckley I recommend having a listen to 'Dream Letter' and 'Live at The Troubadour'. They're both live albums and show what he was really capable of.
