Megadeth - 'Rust In Peace'.
Wow. More nostalgia (not pub gig based this time: none of us were quite *that* good) but still a serious nostalgia trip.
'Tis many a year (well, about 15 years) since I heard this and, to my surprise, it's as good as I remembered it!

Def Leppard - 'Animal'
OK, it's cheesy in retrospect, but I remember how much I seriously, seriously loved this sing when it came out (and the album).

I've been a cheapskate, and it's given me a dilema that only the 'in crowd' of the Hootoo musigensia can resolve.
When The Arcade Fire released 'Neon Bible' I went and bought 'Funeral' (because it was £4 cheaper). I'd only heard a few tracks from Funeral and thought it was better to test the water before buying the new one.
I've seen reviews of Neon Bible ranging from (NME) to rubbish (newsnight)........so? What do you think?
I'm listening to.......The Arcade Fire - Funeral - Power Out.
(Funeral BTW is awesome)
