I heard strange noises from downstairs. And that had happened:
The neighbor's cat had eaten all of my cat's food, drank her milk and then vomited on the floor of the anteroom.

I suppose there's a lesson in there: if you get too greedy and steal someone else's food, Tav will clean up the resulting mess.

I'm pulled over in a layby on the road to Antrim. Just wanted to look something up on google maps, and now here I am, reading hootoo I blame 2legs!

Boiled the kettle for tea, then got so engrossed doing sums involving a c. 1950 opisometer and maps of different scales that I realised the water had gone cold.

Finished up some rhubarb with ice cream Now have a twitchy muscle in my arm, keeps happening at the mo.
Tav, I'm running a hotel for cats it seems. I caught one running down my stairs yesterday and 2 who don't belong to me were fighting indoors the other day

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Jul 17, 2011
WJH? had a cup of cofee... thought about supper, and abscent mindily used the spray bleach cleavner on the worktops, cooker top, sink, swept the utility room and kitchen, and cleaned a couple of the open shelves in the kitchen... and still didn't come to a descicion about supper... bread, or icecream... or choc bisuits and milk or... some combination of them... with butter... and cheese...
Oh, and I exclaimed 'praise the lard'. for no obvious reason wahtsoever... then I filed the dead skin on the heel of my foot, put on some moisturisor, and pondered food some more, and thought about the pros and cons of making bread tommorrow, and weather I should use the last bit of lefover dough which is in a box in the fridge... oh, and I put a load of CDs back on the shelves in the right places... Some of them still arn't in chronological order within the groups/artist subsections, which erks me more than it oughta hmmm... food...

MonkeyS- all revved up with no place to go Posted Jul 19, 2011
Just been for a lunchtime walk over the Uni campus, and noticed lots of people wearing black capes.
It's either graduation, or there's a Batman convention in town!

Just noticed the first blackberries of the year. And I mean big, soft, plump, fully-ripe blackberries, not hard little red knots. Have I slept through a month or two unbeknownst?

Took my EFL student to the cathedral this week. There was a service rehearsal going on and the choristers were all in black capes. EFL student remarked that they're all wearing Jedi uniforms!

Just had a look at our new smiley puzzle in the Post and realised that I have already forgotten what most of these entries mean...

Meaning at least you had a look at them? We don't seem to have too many takers this time around... we're still counting on Taff since he requested another of those puzzles!

I decided it was far too nice a day to go straight home, so I stopped by the supermarket and bought some strawberries, then cycled out to the beach and lay around in the dunes reading and eating strawberries for two hours. Might have a sunburn tomorrow.

I've just seen some of the most disgusting, thuggish behavior I've ever seen. And *that* is no mean feat.
I think perhaps that's why I like dogs so much - because it's nice to be in the company of a civilised species every now and then.
