But chess *is* really complicated.

Not unless it is being played by Steve Mcqueen and Faye Dunaway in 'The Thomas Crown Affair' ( the original and best!)

I'm sure we can come up with a chess-based game along the same lines as 'Naked Twister'.

sure
chess with live pieces:
knight takes queen
pawns engage in allout frenzy
amused king looks on as favourite pawn sits on royal sceptre
need I go on?
Sex is so complicated
Zaphod Posted Nov 20, 1999
Typical.
The busiest (by far) page in H2G2 and of course it starts with sex; the disturbing thing is it finishes with chess.
I don't get it. The chess I mean.
To go right to the top, I'm getting used to Americans, getting used to Canadians becoming really p'ed by being referred to as Americans, but I'm still not comfortable with vegetarians.
I'm especially concerned why anyone would a) want to see Bruce Forsyth or b) be seen in a Welsh bog.
Sex I'm comfortable with, I just don't find frogs particularly erotic.
Have any of you actually read the Guide - or did you all get here by typing "sex" into your chosen search engines???
No Subject

Why thank you! I *borrowed* it from a kind researcher!....but I have stopped using it now....I don't want to get into too much trouble LOL

I got here by typing sex. Am I bit naughty? And i was a bit worried when the subject turned to sex. But hopefully all the talk of a Knight taking a Bishop from behind is over. I had better not tell you my thoughts on the subject of sex. Or you might be offended. But whilst looking at this conversation, probably not.
BTW. Let me introduce myself. I'm foxy queen and would much appreciate it if you would all come to my page and say hello. I'm sure that you nice people at H2G2 will make me feel welcome.

Aren't we all a bit naughty? "No." Shut up, you.
If you get into a forum by searching on 'Sex', don't be surprised if it actually turns out to be about just that. See it this way: you should be surprised that it's also about loads of other things.
What I do find funny to remark tho is that this forum is one of the first forums that newbies check out- myself not excluded. Bubbles was new when she started it (dunno where the poor girl is now) and right now we have someone called Foxy Queen. Sex, sex, sex. It's all they think about. That, and whether they'll get their share of jawbreakers.
Welcome Foxy! May your wanderings about HHGG be enlightening. If not, may they be in lightning. Why? Because both bring sparks.

Sex, sex, sex is that all they think about.
YES that's most of it really. According to several studies the male homo sapiens thinks about sex over 230 times a day ! The female of the species stops at 67 times...need I go on...
Have you noticed that this thread sometimes goes to sleep but never dies...

Righto.
I learned something from another study (a recent one I might add) that I hitherto was convinced of but could't get the confimation of :
Women are just as much into sex as men ! I always suspected that
Or I have had a very untypical girlfriend for years......thank God...

some women are just as obsessed with sex as some men...
but when it all boils down, i think women aim more for "love" than lust...
however i could just be making this up

.....or maybe it is that it is better when you have the *love* part.....then the *sex* part becomes much more important
.....and fun

... a thought which, considering the events in another part of the HHGG forest, could only come from you.... ...though a true word it be indeed.

Sex without Love = Sex
Great Sex without Love = Great Sex
Fantastic Sex without Love = Fantastic Sex
Sex with Love = Bloody paradise....
Anyone disagree...?
