Dracula. Sorry, I know the vamp thing is so overdone, but if I had to live in a castle with a mad scientist who might chop me up for bits or give me to his creation or with an ancient blood sucker who can give me nghts of exquisite pleasure... (if he so wants), I'd go with the vampire.
In a pie - Rhubarb or Gooseberry?
Choices, choices..
MonkeyS- all revved up with no place to go Posted Oct 19, 2010
Classic mistake- the mad scientist was Frankenstein, the monster wasn't actually named in the original novel. But I fully agree with you, there is a slightly skewed romantic overtone to the whole vampire thing. I'd also plump for the nights of exqisite pleasure- though with my back I'm sure the smell of Ralgex would be a bit of a passion killer....
In a pie, I'd go for gooseberry. What to serve it with? Ice cream, or custard?

>>but if I had to live in a castle with a mad scientist who might chop me up for bits or give me to his creation or with an ancient blood sucker <<
If you read that again, I didn't get trapped by the classic mistake at all... I referred to the mad scientist (or whatever he was) and his creation, so I wasn't referring to Frankenstein's monster, except as an offshoot and potential problem with staying with Dr (?) Frankenstein...
Oh, and Custard, even though I prefer ice cream.
Ideally, clotted cream and a butterscotch sauce.
So. Boiled sweets or toffees?
Choices, choices..
MonkeyS- all revved up with no place to go Posted Oct 28, 2010
My bad. I sit corrected. Friends??
Umm, toffee for me. Boiled sweets just don't do it for me.
Cif, or Jif??
Choices, choices..
Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Oct 29, 2010
JIF!
And of course we're friends. If you promise to behave yourself, so will I
If you could have either mondays or fridays off with no loss of income, which would you prefer?

Hi there chum! I promise to behave (has fingers crossed behind back, fnar fnar)
Mobile phone, but only for emergencies (ordering pizza or chinese, that sort of thing!)
Sweet, or savoury?
Choices, choices..
MonkeyS- all revved up with no place to go Posted Nov 2, 2010
Pasta, definitely. With a nice home-made tomato, garlic and bacon sauce and lots and lots of cheese on top.
Brie, or Stilton?
Choices, choices..
Pink Paisley Posted Nov 2, 2010
Mayo (reminds self to have a go at making some).
Tuna or mackerel?

Moonhogg - Captain Coffee Break Posted Nov 2, 2010
Tuna - but preferably still swimming. I've not really progressed past haddock and chips!
So, seaside food...
Fish and chips, or ice cream?
(Oh, and MonkeyS - speaking of pasta and bacon, have a look here: A36711731) <-shameless plug!
Choices, choices..
MonkeyS- all revved up with no place to go Posted Nov 2, 2010
I forgive the shameless plug cos that recipe sounds lurverleee!! Will make a detour to the shops on my way home for some ingredients. I will use kabanos sausage as I like the flavours.
I take it your not a jellied eel fan, either! Fish'n'chips for me.
Deck-chair, or a towel on the sand?
Choices, choices..
Br Robyn Hoode - Navo - complete with theme tune Posted Nov 2, 2010
Hm... Boat I think. I recently discovered I dont deal so well with falling sensations!
Mountains or molehills?
Choices, choices..
Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky. Posted Nov 2, 2010
Mountains (not quite as destructive)
Eggs: poached or scrambled?
Choices, choices..
Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Nov 3, 2010
Definitely poached. It's so much more satisfying having eggs you've poached yourself, from under the very nose of the gamekeeper.
Stoats or weasels?
Choices, choices..
Pink Paisley Posted Nov 3, 2010
Stoats. Nicer tails.
(BTW. It is easy to tell the difference between the two. A weasl is weasilly identifiable and a stoat is stotally different).
Weasley or Potter?

How long did it take to "ferret" around for that one?? Eh??? Eh????
Weasley. He's like the underdogs funnier side-kick. Speaking of which....
Jamacian Ginger Cake, or Jam Tarts?
