I didn't really have anything in mind but I do quite like the idea of writing for the guide. I have got a lot of pleasure from you lot over the years and it would be good to give something back sort of. I would need some assistance to be sure. I will give my old head a scratch and see what comes out with the sawdust.

Is there currently a need for artists?

lil, I know I want to write it but the thing I lack is TIME, that entry is at the bottom of a long list at the moment

To make a serious point, writing for the guide is hampered by the fact that if there's a half-written entry already, say part way through Peer Review, it is quite a cumbersome process to have it taken over by someone else.

I occasionally have a look through the Flea Market, but nothing's ever taken my fancy

We're up to four pips in PR! That's got to be a promising sign.

Trouble with the Flea Market is a lot of it consists of articles that are so personal that nobody else *can* write about them - well, unless they grew up in the same small town, or something.

Ok, so if you give me a research grant I'll travel to Smalltown, Somewhere to look into the local restaurants/sporting events/singing cow

I haven't a clue what's in the flea market, but there's surely more than that?
