Things that make you feel old.

It's true Feisor, some of the young people around at the moment must be a big turn off to their peers. One girl who makes me laugh when I know I am not supposed to it the bright blonde who looks into the camera and says "Get the London Look" what is the flippin London look for goodness sake.

Brave? No. Dumb? Maybe...
However, that's just how I feel now. Ten years ago I wouldn't've dreamed of fancying anyone over 30... so ten or twenty years from now? Who knows?

I don't think there's been a specific London look since the 60s...

Did you see Pudsy from the Avengers on Top Gear the other night although she is a grandmum she looks and drives really good. In the Avengers she was magic all leather and fringe.

Not liking anything played on Radio 1 and finding that the stuff I like is all on Radio 2. That was the station for the middle-aged, when I was a kid.

Ditto. Since John Peel passed on, Radio One has been rubbish.

I almost wish my hair would go silver white! I'm still stuck with mouse brown, my natural colour I went back to when I decided at 30-something I was just too old for dyed blonde! Now I'm turning into my GRANDMOTHER - she always wanted to go white, and never did-even at 96!

All my family have got black hair that just stays dark, except my brother and I, who have got slightly wavy dark blonde hair (I think we must've come from the milkman!! Lol! ), we keep finding really curly pure white hairs on our heads, it's worrying!! Especially for me, since he's 41, and I'm only 29!!
Ah well, Grecian 2000 for him, and whatever I can get my hands on for me!

I've always listened to radio two, so nothing about that can make me feel old, apart from when things are remade and rereleased...
When people in authority [so far, shop assistants and hairdressers...] are younger than you.
When you spend 3 hours walking round town and end up aching all over and unable to stand up [that's why I'm still sat in front of the computer instead of gone to bed, like I should have].
When if anything is going to happen for your birthday, you'll have to organise it yourself.
When you're let loose on the world on your own, and expected to cope... [and I fail to cope completly]
This is from my Mum, I was probably still at primary school at the time, on the primary school children she was teaching...
"I don't mind it when they call me Mum. It's when they'll start calling me Grandma I'll worry."
I know I'm the second youngest poster on this thread, but I am shattered so I certainly feel old.

When you see a movie star you thought was gorgeous when you were 16 (and had a huge crush on), and now he's on another TV series and you discover he's OLD - still good looking, but not the blonde idol he was! Laugh if you will, everyone else does!!
