My one to one sessions used to be funny. I believe humour is a good medicine. You only have to look at the boards. Some of you are better than the telly.

Nobody seems to mind making a fool of themselves, or laughing at themselves. You are all great people. Unfortunately there have been some nasty trolls around. Not on this board but on the bbc boards they made people feel seriously unsafe.

It was almost like they found out as much as they could about you and then little by little threw it all back attcha.

We have occasionally had those here too, Cookie, but I guess the main difference is that this place has a purpose... building up the <./> Edited Guide </.> al lot of us are very protective of hootoo and give a lot of time volunteering for various aspects (like PeerReview, the Post, the Under Guide etc) and other people have set up clubs for specific groups - like the Young Researchers Club and the Talking Heads, we regularly have Meets - twice a year in London and lots goes on elsewhere... there've been Meets in Spain, Missouri, Germany and Lord only knws where else just in the last couple of months.... So what I am saying is, these people don't survive long here. There are too many people who care, who help run the site and we have great people running it (the Powers that be ) who will not allow an individual to ruin it for everyone else.

Wilma thats great to know, I had no idea that you took this board so seriously, although now you say, it has a feel about it that someone cares and does the chores as it were rather like a home it has a cared for look.

I have put a little bit about myself in an introduction. Odd that when it comes to talking about me I am a little shy. But when I get started you can't shut me up NO WAY.

It is very nice to know that I am missed feeling a bit sorry for myself because I will be returning to UK with only myself and the dog for company and we are having to stay with relations and you know yourself I am sure that with all the best will in the world yo always feel as if you are putting people out or being in the way. The soonest I can start to look for a job and get a house rented the bettr I will feel.

Oh Cate I'm sorry to hear that. I take it things didn't go too well where you are then. As I said in my e-mail I didn't look back on the posts when I got back from holiday, so I don't know all what's been going on.

No things didn't go well. My husband is staying to finish up all the business and send our car and belongings back.

I am really excited but travelling alone is no fun and also I will be concerned for him being over here alone.
