No not this weekend, it's my long weekend off. Finish Friday morning and don't come back till day shift on Tuesday. Yeah I heard it was meant to be hot, glad I'll be at home, can't stand working in the heat.

sleeping patterns must get a little interesting working shifts like you do... care to tell us about it?

My shifts can be a bit of a nightmare, but I've done that same shift pattern for about the last 11 years, so I'm used to it now.
I work three days - four nights - three off, then four days - three nights - and four days off. which works out about 240 hours per month.

When I change from days to nights, I have to stay awake for 24 hours otherwise I can't sleep and end up shattered.

My OH comes from Manchester he says Preston or Balckburn are S Lancashire is he right? It's probably midnight over there. When I did nightshift I liked the summer best as it got light around 4am.

As for why I'm up so late? I'm a little bit insomniac.

Sorry I didn't get back online last night - went on a bit longer than anticipated which is all good.
I reckon you should set up a Reading room on here for posting when people happen to be about, so that we aren't held to ransom by the R2 message board hours.
Flying home this evening, so look out for - still carryin books

BOO - scared ya...
Good evening one and all.
80s I missed you terribly, but hey, glad you had a good time. Have a safe flight home in the cargo hold with all your books (), and I’ll hopefully catch up with you soon. It’s my last nightshift tonight, so I’ll be on my four days off, but I’m sure I’ll get on at some stage to say hello.
BING BONG...
It is now 52 minutes past the hour of 6 - and all is well.

I missed the first 'House' so avoided the rest. Anybody got 'em all on DVD?
