If you've never seen darkness, how can you know true light?

I thought I would start a 'thought for the day' thread where people can post their, er, thought for the day.

Why is "Belly Fat" 'Sexy' on Men & Not Women?

IS IT!!??
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
According to my "sources", it is indeed!
Actually, I was quite surprised at the results of my little "poll".
It seems that some view a man's 'belly fat' as being the result of a life of struggle, which translates into said subject being a worthy 'catch'.
Hey! I swear I didn't make this up, folks!
So again, my question is (or should be): aren't there any gents out there that believe heavily 'endowed' women can still be attractive and 'alluring'?
Just curious, you guys.
Just curious.

I can't believe that someone could actually leave H2G2. I would've thought this place has a bit of something for everybody at any time. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F75657?thread=2763954

Why don't they change the blurb on disabled parking spaces at supermarkets to reflect the way things really are? :
No Parking - disabled parking only or BMW drivers in a hurry.

Even cool people can be made to look like a silly nerd when they wear a cycle helmet:

What happened to Prince Andrew? He used to be in the news all the time - either doing silly things or dating some laydeee. I can honestly say I haven't seen him or heard him mentioned for years.

If my lightbulb is too bright and I need to replace it do I buy a lighter lightbulb or a darker lightbulb?
Thought for the day
Cheerful Dragon Posted Nov 20, 2007
You buy a lower wattage lightbulb that is less bright. I guess that's a dimmer lightbulb. (Yes, I know it's a rhetorical question. Just making the point that 'light' isn't 'light' or 'dark', it's bright or dim.)
