Today i had the plaster removed from my broken ankle,oh! the pure joy of being able to scratch my leg again.Iwill also be able to drive my beloved car,i shall take us to the new forest where i tripped and broke my ankle in the first place.

The seagulls always make me smile,i get a few sprats to feed them and watch as they fight in mid air. I took grandson no.1today he asked what was in the bag i said sprats, after a long pause he said i didn't know seagulls ate sprouts.I then had visions of me hurling sprouts at the gulls probably knocking tham senseless

A friend sending me songs he has written, composed, sung and recorded, and the lyrics for the songs, and another friend sending me a photo last night - still makes me smile today

Chatting to my new boss and being invited to a team bulding away-day at a posh hotel on Monday
Discovering that the house next door is on the market for £10k more than I paid for mine - it's smaller and has fewer rooms, though a nicer garden.
That song by The Feeling about you got my heart in a headlock. Absolutely gorgeous it is - reminiscent of 10cc. Off to google them now.
