To A.e don't be a troll - it's not big and it's not clever. It makes you look like you have a mental age in single figures and shows a distinct lack of a life if you feel compelled to just slag things off and spoiler.
I saw the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on Saturday and it was a highly enjoyable experience although not in the same league as the LOTR films. I also enjoy Harry Potter too. If you don't like something then no one is forcing you to watch or read it by all means dislike something but don't spoil it for those who do that's just rude and pathetic.

Ok I'm perplexed

er, I know, I was making it? to sort of make a joke? 'Bananarama' vs 'Banarniarama' 'Robert Di Nero's waiting (Talkin Italian)' vs 'Robert Di Niro's waiting (Talkin with Aslan)'. I didnt genuinely think there was a pop group called Banarniarama. That would be silly. The wardrobe could ever get the hang of the dance moves.
And vamp, loosen up, if someone disagrees or doesnt like something they are fully entited to say so as, someone so rightly pointed out earlier on this thread, it is entitld 'Narnia' and you are aked your opinions on it, not 'Isn't Narnia Brilliant' and you are only asked to post positives.

I guess I'm behind the game here but it's not to do with Bananarama pun thing (which I haven't got around to looking at yet). I'm not going to disagree with the right of someone to say they don't like something it but it seems kinda troll-like to go on a thread called "Narnia" and say the equivalent of "Narnia sucks 'cos its got a stupid lion in it" it struck me as a little immature and puerile. There are plenty of things out there that are not my bag but I won't go on a thread devoted to something to slag it off. Also if someone is going to say they don't like something I'd rather they had an informed reason for it - you know the plot's a bit thin, the characters are stereotyped etc. I've already too many articles of journos and various pillocks in "The Metro" letters pages dismissing anything fantasy based and of idiots willy nilly slagging off some of favourite characters, not to be annoyed by "its pants 'cos it is" type comments.
