Sorry, this may be a bit of a rant..most likely
infact so feel free to unsubscribe!
I've been getting increasingly pi$$ed off lately
with peoples attitudes towards me and people with my beliefs in general! yes I am a Witch, not everyones cup of tea and I don't expect it to be, but I do object to being treated as a nutter! As a Witch yes I have belief in and use certain non conventional approaches such as spell casting and Gem therapy. How does this make me any 'wackier' than the millions of people who believe in an almighty being in the sky, virgin births and people who come back from the dead to float up into the aforementioned sky!!?? why should anything I write pertaining to our beliefs and practices need a disclaimer saying by the way dont take this crazy bullsh*t seriously moron or words to that effect when all christian nn such entries are accepted with nothing of the sort and nquestions? Whyshould i have to have hard scientific proof behind anythying i say or its nonsense but they dont ! Are their bliefs any more provable than mine? I bloody doubt it ! and
mine make a fuc@ of a lot more sense anyway!

I don't believe what you believe Serephina but it's got a damned sight better chance of being scientifically validated than any of the 'big guy in the sky' stuff.
Wasn't there something about energy and matter being kinda' similar?
Oh yeah, E=MC2 (sorry, can't do superscript!)
A PR thread is the last place someone should be giving your, or anyone else's, beliefs a hammering. Here, have a <JD&Coke>.

Hey babe - sorry you're having a rough time in PR (it is pretty brutal in there these days - I have at least 2 entries incubating that I don't dare release to the hounds just yet )

(Blimey this has all gone kinda political, what!)

Seems that just as there are those that will only except what the Bible says and have a go at any who believe otherwise. There are just as many who'll only except what New Scientist magazine says and have a go at those who dare think outside the box.

What gets me that biblical angels are OK but to have them in another context is 'hocus pocus'. Doesn't the bible go on about the father, son and holy ghost?

Oh blimey, steady, the biblical behemoth brigade will be on the thread in no time! I've unsubbed from four threads in the last week for fear of an almighty online punchup.

Actually i think the holy ghost may be a solely catholic concept like hell
And as for the virgin mary and baby jesus pics n whatnot? oddly similar to those of the much older Isis and baby Horus arent they!

Someone call?
I *am* the resident scary cafflick, 'parently - or so I've been told... On the subject of the mighty JC et al... The whole story repeats itself backwards in history like a mirror within a mirror. I myself am still waiting for the Man to produce His autobiography and spill the beans. The gnostic gospels didn't quite do it for me. Do you reckon Penguin would get the deal?

Spot on. It may get tedious, but just argue the case. No Guide Entry has to explain 'the entire history of everything leading up to this'. As long as it's carefully qualified - and that one's certainly that! - no problem.
