Why, thank you! I'm very proud of my Libra-ness!
But it's not that I'm "sign-ist" or anything! Can I start over everyone?

Alji, would you forgive a silly newbie like me?

Okay, I'm a Libra, but I know nothing about astrology. All those things everybody mentioned... I just thought that was just who I am. How funny! I'm not sure what else I can contribute about good/bad of being a Libra, because I don't know which of my traits are because I'm a Libra.
So anyway, are we going to form a club or something for Libras?

I did have a 3 year relationship with a Cancerian....
but the fact that he was 4 years younger than me (at the tender age of 19 and 23...)kind of set the tone for the relationship I think.

Could prove to be a bit dodgy if you are both typical of your sun signs. His emotion versus your intellect. Mr Cancr is a homebird and Miss Libra wants a social life.

Oh it was most definitely *very* dodgy at times Alji...

I found that he was just really looking for someone to mother him, which was most definitely not for a 23 year old me! I couldn't stand the sulking either, but then I suppose that I was far too "cold" towards him at times.

I must have something about Water signs though - I'm now engaged to a Scorpio!
......and I always said that I'd never get involved with another Scorpio after 2 (count 'em!) rather disastrous affairs over the years.

Now I get so confused! What are the time periods for those signs you were talking about? I'm really not sure if I've had relationships with any of those types of people.
I do know my birthday, though! (I should hope so, after 19 years of living.) My birthday is October 2nd.

My birthday is september 24. My mom used to tell me I was on the cusp with virgo, but I think thats actually the 23.

My best friend's a scorpio. They're supposed to be pretty set in their ways. There's a word for it but I can't remember. Like libras are Cardinal signs, we like a lot of change and sometimes starting the change. Scorpios fall under the exact opposite catagory.

Lisacat, it depends which year you were born how close to the cusp you are.

Rudeness is far from the nature of any Libran so I'd like to excuse myself for posting something that is seemingly irrelevant to the current flow of conversation.

A friend of mine, who happens to be a Libran like us, sent me an e-mail regarding the rapport amongst Librans. Now I would appreciate anything but a lawsuit for plagiarism ( simply put, taking other people's intellectual contribution as your own; not giving credit to the pioneer of an idea that you borrowed, etc.) so I'd like to make it known and clear that the following information isn't mine. Uhm, did I shut everybody up? How come no one has said a thing (aside from Lisacat) anymore?

Well I've had intimate relationships with 2 Librans over the years, and they were far from harmonious!

I found that we could never agree on anything....


I had this Libran boyfriend several years ago, and we were friends with this couple who were also both Libran.

We were trying to decide on where to go on a New Year's Eve, and the conversation went round and round and round in cirles for *ages* until I stood up and rather loudly stated where I was going and the others could come along if they wanted to.

Must be that Scorpionic side of me rearing it's head!


Mind you, one of my closest friends is a Libran, and I find that we can discuss anything for hours. She has such similar thought processes to me that I find it refreshing and reassuring to talk to her and find that I can confide some of my deepest, darkest fears to her and still feel safe and loved.

Thinking on it, I've had very few close friends who were Libras, too. Is that a bad thing?

You mean you just didn't get along with them or you weren't given the opportunity? Either way I don't think it's that bad. There are other elements that contribute to people liking each other than astrology.
Did they smell bad?
