Introduction- or something like that...

They suggested I really ought to write some kind of an introduction, so people can wander through my page and take a look around. Now, I don't have any idea what kind of information would go in such an introduction. "What would people," I ask myself, "like to know, or even care about?"
So here's what I'll do:
This will be the greatest part of my introduction, for the first few days at least, and anybody who happens to wonder through (yes, that is wonder, and not wander. Don't you wander why?) can make suggestions about what exactly I really ought to be writing in this introduction.
So leave your feedback, and when you drop by again in a few days, (if you're willing to do such a riculous thing,) it may or may not be a little or a lot different.

I will now proceed to talk about me. (My favorite subject! ;)) I'm 5-10 years older than I was five-ten years ago, and enjoying every bit of that. I live in the USA, and try not to get lost in all the confusingness. I think I get along okay, but can't always be sure.
I like books, and books, and books. (What else matters?) I work as one of those annoying people who calls you up on the phone and ask if you have a few minutes to answer some questions about shopping habits, politics, or toothpaste. (We actually haven't done toothpaste, but I think it would be interesting to do.)

Enough for now.
Cheerio!
