Kaz Posted May 1, 2002
Good luck with the exams. I'm still working at college. I'm doing my AS Art exam at the moment, and the others start in about 3 weeks. Its a really scary thought, I didn't realise we were that far through the year! I think my brain still thinks its February or something!
What are you studying at Uni? At the moment I'm doing AS Film studies, English lang and art. Oh, and retaking my Maths GCSE. They stuck me in foundation maths tier at school you see.

i'm doing social psychology. get to check out how poeople think, though we haven't done the psychoanalysis module yet so don't worry.
if it's any consolation, it doesn't seem like i've been at uni for nearly 7 months, yet this is the last day of lectures before our exams. very scarey.
Hey!
Kaz Posted May 2, 2002
Yeah. Wow. Social psychology. Interesting stuff. I've always been interested in why we think what we think about stuff, and how, if you see what I mean. Never really had a proper chance to discuss it though.

Not as such, no, but I thought that programme John Cleese did The Human Face, about how humans respond to seeing people they know, or don't know, as the case may be, very ummmm...*searches for word*.. enlightening. Yes, I think that's the word.
I thought it was amazing how we can store so many records of faces in our heads, and then find the 'appropriate response' for that person when we see them.
I hope that makes sense. It was kinda difficult to explain!
Hey!
NPY Posted May 8, 2002
yeah - i saw that too. it was really interesting. and john cleese is really good at stuff. (really nonsensical me!)
Hey!
Kaz Posted May 8, 2002
Thanks. Yeah, Clive helped me out. like I said, we had so much trouble with it. In the end he coded it all for me (which made me feel very guilty)!
Hey!
