woops!! did you see jeremy clarkson on tv last night talkibng about what compurters did for us?? it was quite interesting and he's kinda funny

I caught the very end of it. I bet it was quite good.

I used to hate Jeremy Clarkson because of his lack of respect for the environment and the singlemindedness he used to radiate on Top Gear until I saw his case for Brunel on the great britons thing. It showed that he actually had a brain!
He is quite funny-did you see the grumpy old men Christmas special?

i think so. yeah and they were talking about how you always get socks and have to look so excited at stupid pressies and how no one ever says they had the best every Christmas but say it was good and quiet. some of those guys are mad.

I thought what Arthur Smith said about advent calendars was hilarious

They're ok. Can't say I'm overly fussed now I'm a bit older. I used to like them but the novelty sort of wears off as you get older, doesn't it? Or does it? I dunno, do you like them?

i don't know. i think if someone gave me one i wouldn't turn it down. i'd only ever buy myself one in the middle of december when they werte reduced to 50p and even then it's if i could be bothered. more in a bar of

sorry I've been away for so long, lots of stuff to do for college, but I'm ok now, so got lots more time to spend on h2g2!

On another point, did you see that happy birthday BBC2 thing last night?

i only saw a coupke of minutes of it. think i had work to do at th4 time. was it any good?

yeah. It was pretty good. I thought hitchhikers might've been mentioned though, or did that go out on BBC1 when it was first aired? I can't remember.
What was annoying was that it made me realise how many good progs I have missed over the years! especially great britons-I missed most of the programmes for the top ten, when it was on. I dunno why, maybe they were on at strange times or something, but I think I missed nearly all of them except Alan Davies' bid for John Lennon, which was quite good, and I caught a bit of Jeremy Clarkson's Brunel one, but I didn't see all of it.
recently I made a mental note to watch the Alan Clarke Diaries as well when they came on BBC2 because they looked so funny, but Ive missed all of those as well!
