That is a good idea. There are, however about seventeen verses, and no-one knows the tune. The two lyrics that are known to exist are "With a giraffe if you stand on a stool" and "With a snail if you slow to a crawl2. That leaves a whole menagerie of other animals for the verses. I'll link to here on the front page, so that we can all pool our ingnoance.

r9ght well this is a riotous drunkard drinking song, with plety of quoffing and the like - so it's got to be sung at the top of your voice.
I reckon the rhythm should have a sort of swinging to and from motion about it.
"and the la la da dum
but the da da dee dee
but The hedgehog cannot be - bu**ered at aaaaaaall!

Yeah, i was thinking more of a sort of chant:
Then what you said about the cresecendo
This is sorta how I picture it:
You can do it with a snail
If you slow to a crawl
crescendo...

Okay, I got some:
With a giraffe if you stand on a stool
With a snail if you slow to a crawl
With a cat if you don't mind getting scratched
With a rabbit, but don't make it a habit
With a monkey- oh no damn look SORRY ARGHHH!
With a fish if that's what you really wish
With a whale, but don't go telling tales.
