kea ~ Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small, unregarded but very well read blue and white website

Someone needs to update the w*k* page on h2g2 (meaning the page about h2g2 on w*k*, not the page about w*k* on h2g2, which might well need updating too).

We're going to have a state of the art website here. If we get 40 days and nights of rain, it'll be state of the ark as well. smiley - smiley

If two weeks of tennis competition at Wimbledon is too much, then what would be a more reasonable alternative? Ten days? Aweek> Four days?

minus 3 Fusking years, tennis is just such a non game, its just like golf your club membership is all! its what you drive as so much as your ability to play the game, who you know to hire a court, hum thinking about it, its like most sports now! Fusking boring! Bring back Tiddlywinks!smiley - smiley

Holy good Cod almighty!!!!!

That the day would come that I would defend Golf!!!!smiley - yikes

In it's ideal and God-intended form (fifteen holes, no one on the links but you and your partner, no caddies, no little put-put cars, three or four clubs and one ball) it is the sport of Kings and Queens and the very Ambrosia of sport!

In all other forms, of course, it's utter snooty Bourgeois bollocky horse droppings. Why would anyone watch it? And why would anyone waste an afternoon and most of an evening playing it? If a round of golf isn't finished in under two hours, *everything* is wrong! Life is too bloody short, people!

I feel so refreshed!
