A new verson of 'Single Sign On' (SSO v1.3) will be uploaded overnight tonight.
All DNA services will be temporarily unavailable during the uploading - this is planned take no more than three hours (between midnight and 3am Friday morning, BST). You will not be able to register with, or post to, any of the DNA communities during this time.
We apologise for the short notice, but we could only confirm the specific timings today.

Oooh right, lets hope it causes less confusion than the last SSO thing. Though we might get a new badge which would be fun.

I never even noticed the last single sign on thingy though I read others complaining about it. I think I just signed back on? Can't remember.
Meanwhile, I think harsh words about a totally free and amazing forum that has brought so many people together are quite unfair.
Okay, I sometimes get frustrated when it takes ages or when all these error things happen. But meanwhile, I'm actually quite grateful that h2g2 exists at all.
How can we complain about something we don't even pay for?
Anyhow . . .
Hope to see you all tomorrow!

You are right, az, and I'm ashamed I complained - but that is the magic of this site, isn't it - you are frustrated when you can't get in touch with your friends
