Yes, that too. Since everything started being bad I seldom leave my MP list page, open all threads in separate windows and sometimes only refresh the MP list if I already think it is safe to do so because it has been so hard to get back from the errors once they've started. The randomisation of servers improved that in one sense but made it worse in another. A separate trick is to open a new browser window process which is not logged in as often that can at least be used to read the site when the logged in ones can't.

I've always doen that, though, even when there aren't problems.
Thoguh I'm not getting problems right now...
Is it possible to have one window logged in when others aren't?

This should be possible, though you never will be sure who does the posting eventually."

It is quite possible to be logged in in multiple accounts and not logged in simultaneously. Some people use different browsers. Instead of doing that I deliberately set my computer to run separate processes because of other problems which I know can otherwise bring the whole lot down - this is Windows after all! Of course it can still all crash but that sort of cascade happens slightly less often. The most I have probably done is being logged in on nine and not logged in on another couple.

Another way is to not have the site set to remember you, and leave one window as not logged in, or as another account, which is how PaperBaby and I manage to have simulposts occasionally At least, that works in IE...
