Mort - a middle aged Girl Interrupted Posted Dec 20, 2003
I was on the emergency shift once and me and the vet got so on Christmas day that we didn't hear the phone ring. One of the off duty nurses ended up answering it!
Fortunately by the time the client arrived with her dog (in a non emergency condition I might add - a rash on his leg!!) I had sobered up a bit!

Kringle, you only work one day a year. What are you complaining about?
Now, a carol.
Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg;
The Batmobile has lost a wheel, and the Joker got away - hey!
Oof. All right, how about...
Deck the halls with gasoline,
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la, la, la
Light a fire and watch it gleam
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la, la, la
Isn't it fun to play with matches
Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la, la, la
Watch the house burn down to ashes,
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la, la, la.
Merry Xmas to Ya'll, and to Ya'll a Good Night!
