Thanks for the explanation, Eds! But keep applying the whip to poor Jim Lynn, because we really need that search facility. Without it, h2g2 would just become a load of silly conversations!

Boxing Baboon, the server problem does occasionally cause some pages to come up in the wrong font, so that things don't look quite the shape they should be. This could be what you are experiencing.
