Biltong - dried raw beef (perfect for munching while relaxing with an

Crisps - not exclusive to S.A. but eaten in large quantities by South Africans
food:
Boerewors - S.A. sausage (always cooked on the braai [barbeque]
Chakalaka - hot chunky sauce/vegetable
Mielie Meal - for making stywe pap (stiff porridge) - eaten at braais with boerewors, steak, chops, chicken

Those look great Infinity, I got torn between various foods but ended up just bringing in some red wine and some really good brie.
