h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Welcome to my new home. Since being so kindly elected as ship's navigator I am going to decorate this lovely little suite I was directed to over here on the lido deck.

As you can see I have this lovely spiral staircase up into the mini glasshouse you can see from below if you're up on deck which allows me to see the stars, sky and sea. For navigational purposes, of course. Just ignore the hammock I've strung up there... Well, have a lie down in it if you like, it's rather relaxing...

Anyway, I'm getting the furniture changed over to something a bit more and a little less . Big, soft, squashy and comfortable. Aesthetics be damned, I want comfort for book reading and chart plotting. Speaking of which, do you like my huge graphic's drawing board? One day I'll find a use for it, I've just always wanted one.

Finally, my bed and en-suite are in that cupboard over there. It was a full sized room, now it's a cupboard seeing as I filled it with a lovely huuuge bed...

Please do pop in any time. So long as the door's not locked .

I think that you've actually improved the aesthetics with those well-uphiolstered pieces of furniture, Robyn. The hammock's a nice touch, too.

I'm getting a PS3, big TV and a sound system installed next week Feel free to drop by for some Bomberman or other gaming fun some time.

When I'm not being incredibly serious trying to make sure we're heading in the right direction of course!

Does your big TV had a DVD player attached to it?

Use the console... It plays DVDs and blu ray.
