I think I can hear the phone ringing in the Consulting Rooms!!

But this is my day off. I was planning to read some silly bodice-ripper romance while lounging on the deck in plaid shorts and a loud floral hawaiian shirt and sunglasses. If I look busy, that will spoil the whole efefct.

There was a film about that "Dead men wear plaid" Doesn't do well to ignore the Chief Engineer

I didn't see that movie, but I saw Steve Martin's "Dead men don't wear plaid." It was probably more fun to watch anyway.

That wasn't the spoof version then I have some prop wash to collect

I had no idea that Steve Martin's movie was a spoof on anything.

Urrrrrm, no it wasn't. The version I was referring to was Starred Rachel Ward

Rachel Ward and Steve Martin were together in "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid."

It was a long time ago, fair play to you for having a better memory than mine I'm sure it was a spoof on another film, or book, noir I must think on that further

I didn't know what Plaid was, I thought it was a speeling error like Steve plaid with his rectangular bits.

*ahem*

Now that you've all gone to look busy, I'm going to dance like an idiot, read Watership Down and sing along to heavy metal.

Dancing like an idiot is the only way I can dance at all. But it's nice to have someone to dance *with*.

I didn't leave because I was busy. I left because I needed a good night's sleep. Of course, many of my dreams are more demanding than my job!

Ah the mysteries of noctornal thoughts, it's a wonder I don't suffer repetitive strain injury with where mine go
