Lighthouse Bar Pub Quiz - The 2nd Champagne Link

That annoyingly catchy theme tune is still bloomin' well playing even after nearly 16 months of the quiz! But we have fixed the lights that were supposedly dimmed (actually they were broken) in the Pub Quiz Corner of the Lighthouse Bar.
A spot light crashes to the floor and we see a rather startled GreyDesk (Light's alledgedly able assistant) standing behind the now rather tatty champagne glass shaped lectern. Unlike the proprietor of the business, he doesn't have any fancy clobber to wear, nor does he have any length to his hair making it worth tying back! He does however have some specs perched on the end of his nose, and wears the trademark stern expression
Hello and welcome to the second thread of the Champagne Link
You all know the rules by now. Answer a chain of approximately 5 questions in a row correctly, and the management will dish out some to who so ever seems to be hanging around the place. But if you make an error in an answer then the chain goes back to the beginning again! In the (rare) circumstances that there is some debate about a question, an answer, or anything else come to think of it, the Management will always be right. This is referred to as "rule 2". Please remember it.
* stern look *
Shall we begin?
Good.
Poli's answer of "" back in here F70774?thread=144952&skip=6680&show=20 was quite correct so we move on to question 4 in this chain.

Today shall henceforth be a monumental day. GreyDesk finally adopts one of my suggestions after declaring it sensible... Rejoice! Rejoice! Celebrate!
The lake's in Egypt, btw.

No it is the same brand as always. It just tastes a bit different at a lower altitude - ask any airline catering manager!

Shouldn't it depend a little on what direction you are facing on that moment? I mean, is the ocean surface's curvature the same everywhere ?
