The captain asked me to enter this contest... Well:
I think there´s a major advantage in me being santa... I won´t be here around christmas, so I can virtually keep all the presents for myself... I´ll only be handing out LEGO`s anyway, so there shouldn´t be too much fuss...
On top of that I could take over the role as the German "Christkind" that has factually had the job of Santa around this place for at least one millenium (if not less) until Hollywood took over presented us Santa...
I´d like to share Santa´s post with people doing "Père Noel" "Väterchen Frost"(That was the east-german, communist pseudonym for Santa) and any other figure available for the season... And I´d organise a meetup and a load of 
and 
while parents get the job to buy presents and stop telling lies about Santa, Jesus and God getting people nailed to bits of wood...

I have decided to nominate myself to be the h2g2 .
The number one reason why I think I ought to be Santa is to save 90% of the population the disappointment that they get every Christmas day. There you are, opening your presents, hoping for all manner of good things, and what do you end up with?
Socks.
So vote for me and I will save all that pent up disappointment by stating here and now, in advance, that everyone on the planet (and off it too), will be getting socks this Christmas. Write me a list of things if you want, tell me if you've been naughty or nice if that makes you happy, but let me say once more that this Christmas you will be getting socks.
There you go - no disappointments come the big day, no hopes shattered or dreams unfulfilled, no envious glances at the family member who gets the really nice presents - everyone knows what they'll be getting. What better way to ensure peace on Earth come December 25th?
P.S. Who is this God person anyway?
