come to a meetup? Do you live too far
from other researchers?
Light, not many people could change
their gender even if they wanted to.
If one gender were *better* than the
other (which I don't think is the case),
people would still be stuck with whatever
they had.

Well Lizzy they do have a point! If you go to the RSVP thread there is some advice there for people in your situation - why not check it out. I am travelling with someone I already know and I have met several people before, but I will still make sure lots of people know where I am going etc.
