The Quartermaster's Store
some bloke who tried to think of a short, catchy, pithy name and spent five sleepless nights trying but couldn't think of one Started conversation Nov 1, 2001
I learnt this on a Boys' Brigade camp when I was quite a bit younger than I am now. It works better as a spoken (or actually sung) game, but I think it would work online as well. This is an example of how it's done:
There was Mike, Mike
Trying to find his bike
In the store... in the store...
There was Mike, Mike
Trying to find his bike
In the Quartermaster's store
Which is then followed by the chorus which goes:
My eyes are dim, I cannot see
I have not brought my specs with me
I have not brought my specs with me.
Although I think we'll leave that off the online version. In the sung version, when the person gets to the "In the store..." part everybody joins in.

I learnt this at Cubs/Scouts, with slight the slight alteration to the chorus, which went:
My Eyes are dim. I cannot see, I left my Specs in the Double U See, I left my Specs in the Double U See.
The only prob is how to "play" this : do a whole vers each or suggest first line then 2nd player does "tag" line.
Thusly:
There was Akela, Akela.....
2nd player:
Snogging with Akela
In the Stores, In the Stores,
there was Akela, Akela snogging with a Sailor in the QuarterMaster's stores,..... etc...

I suggest the whole verse, since that's how I was taught it.
There was Eddy, Eddy,
Trying to find his teddy,
In the store, in the store.
