£400000 is cost! What a heap of pants!
See it here -

And put in your vote for how garbage it is.
Some peopl have submitted their own here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/6719747.stm
I like 2, 6 and 10 much better.

I don't know, I quite like it. I like the fact that it looks:
a) As if it's broken
b) A bit rubbish.
I suspect that will symbolise the London Olympics nicely.

*rubs chin in thought*
Yeah, and the English athletes too.

It has inspired me to make a positive change in my life
by closing the browser window
As a young person, I have been reached and engaged
to mention how hideous it is (PINK?!)
I have been inspired to achieve a personal goal
That of demonstrating my good taste, despite being a "young person"
I feel the dynamism -
it was an explosion in the paint factory
I feel the modernity -
Though we tend to cover sharp edges so children don't cut themselves
I feel included -
Though I'm not sure I want to join (is that a '2012'? You coulda fooled me.)
If that is the "vision" of London that you want to "show the world" then I must say, the world is going to tell you to take off your neon-coloured glasses and learn to print legible numbers.
How's that for some bashing?

I don't like stick-in-the-muds who say that edgy stuff is no good without even thinking about it.
Except this didn't get any better even when I thought about it.

I needed a good laugh, or at least a bit of a snigger, and then I saw this logo thing. Oh dear oh dear...

I thought it was alright, personally. A couple of the ones I saw on the News last night are better though.

It looks to me like something a committee worked on - I wonder what the original idea was?

I think the most telling part was how defensive they were about it at the grand unveiling. Instead of "Look what a cool logo we made!" they were saying "With time you'll come to love it for its inner essense."

It's like my daughter saying 'Look at the mess I made of the walls, in time you'll thank me for devaluing our property...'

Look on the bright side Matt, in 300 years that'll be an archelogical wonder. Tony Robinson will love your house.

I'd rather Tony keeps his loving in his own house to be honest.

You'd probably be well advised to keep your tv switched off then.

Even more so now, apparently the Olympic advertising featuring the logo triggers epileptic fits! They realy went to town with this one!

Now the cost becomes more explicable. Ken had a hand in this one didn't he?

Apparently not according to the horse's ar - I mean mouth. But he likes it. Which is tosh. I bet he doesn't, he just doesn't want anyone to think he has taste.

Maybe it was Blair's idea, contrived in the hope that it will make Gordon look an idiot in 2012 when he has to say how great it is endlessly for two months.

No, just guarding against the worst case scenario. He's learned that from Iraq.
