A Conversation for The Manifesto for the Campaign to rename Thursday, "Thing"
Announcing my RETIREMENT.

I've been Warlord of the Thingite Clan now since its inception, almost a decade ago but I have been slowly winding down my involvement over the last few years, for a whole variety of reasons but have decided now the time has come to make that official. It's something I've been meaning to do and finally found the will to carry it through.
I'll still pop in from time to time, as I usually do, so that won't change but I figure it is time to let someone else inherit the campaign that I started - give it some new energy - and for me to move on.
I'll even go so far, as to transfer over the code for the Manifesto to whomever wants to take on this challenge and restore the name of the Thingites on h2g2.
My Regulation Titanium Spork has been blunted on the field of battle, it has served me well and now it must, like me, retire.
It has been such fun. I shall miss it and all the wonderful Thingites who flocked to its banner. Our creed is strong and affirmed and undimmed and unbowed:
Liberté Egalité Fraternité Insanity.
Clive the flying Ostrich: Thingite Warlord (Emeritus).
