This is the OFFICIAL Voting Area for all Thingites who wish to commemorate June 24th as the Official Day of the Towel.
Why June 24th? Because I picked a random day out of the year that was on the top of my head. Literally. I cut out all the little squares from last year's calendar, put the names of the months on the squares so I knew exactly which date it would be, then threw them up in the air. June 24th landed on my head.
So reply to this post! Vote! And maybe... just maybe... Alright, non-Thingites can vote too. But ONLY non-Thingites considering joining the Thingites.

We'll also need a hand-towel day, foot-towel day, toe-towel day, finger-towel day, arm-towel day, leg-towel day, lower-front-torso-towel day, upper-front-torso-towel day, lower-back-torso-towel day, upper-back-torso-towel day, neck-towel day, and head-towel day.
Or, we could always just dedicate a whole month to towels in general.

I like the idea of May 11, it makes more sense. I also think the movie should come out on May 11 too. I mean, how hard is it to change the release date of a movie that's 136 days away to a date that's only 6 days later?
