A Conversation for The Manifesto for the Campaign to rename Thursday, "Thing"
Thing - An idea

In the due course of man-kinds history, we has strived to make life easier for ourselves in a variety of ways. Giving names to ourselves gave us a feeling of recognition. Naming the things around us allowed us to communicate. Understanding the seasons has allowed us to farm and therefore plan our lives. Sometimes, in order to go forward, we must go backwards.
Renaming the days of the week is simply the best idea in the world. I would like to take it a step further:
EVERY DAY SHOULD BE RENAMED THING!
Think of how much confusion and effort it would save. You wouldn`t have to worry about anything. You would always know what day someone intended to do something. What day your brand new washing machine would delivered. Everything would be easy.......
This is the campaign to rename every day THING.
Please show your support.

Thing - An idea

Hi M! The only real flaw I see in your reasoning is that it would be very difficult to keep engagements. For example: I'll meet you on Thing for lunch! Or: I'm having my appendix out on Thing. Makes it impossible to know what day one's talking about.
That being said, I'm glad you like the idea of Thing! Care to join our merry clan?
