Batty's House of Infinite Joy... Need we say more???

I can only handle liver if it's dipped in milk, coated with flour, then sauteed with sliced onions. Then you add a cup of wine to the pan, cover and let it simmer for about 30 minutes... it's wonderful! (and doesn't taste a thing like liver - which is the best part! )
However - I do have quite a liking for fried chicken livers... (or wrapped with bacon and broiled! yummy!) Hate chicken gizzards though.
It's weird. I REALLY dislike sardines, but I LOVE smoked canned oysters... (I think it's the bone thing in the sardines that I don't like)
No accounting for taste I guess

However - you "Brits" seem to eat some very weird stuff... (Americans don't really eat a lot of organ meats, tongue, intestines, brains, feet, tails or any sausage that is ground from other than muscle masses. And we aren't really big on lamb or venison. So none of this "black pudding" or "blood sausage" or "haggis". I think the closest thing I've ever come to eating organ meats was when I had minudo (spelling?) which is a mexican soup made out of boiled organs (luckily everything has dissolved before the soup is served to you!) Yuck!

Thanks for stopping by, Enya!
Michele, you should try my Pate Madeira... people who don't like liver even like it.. I once used it to cater an open house at my company (back in Tulsa - long ago) and ended up giving out tons of recipes.. I'll compile the recipe for you.. When I cook it's a bit of this and a bit of that (and recipes are really just guidelines for me) so I'll have to think about it..
*gives Lurcher a thanks dear! the provochol chaser might be necessary after that kind of meal though.. it's the kind of meal that may require a nap between courses..

Ha. Americans... They've got people with more blubber than a school of sperm whales, and there's stuff they /won't/ eat!? Maybe they should lose the GM food, the Fat-filled foods, and George Bush.
Not that /I'd/ eat any of that organ crap...

I'm not that fond of grapes either...
I suppose that's what happens when you live off Chicken Curry and Pot Noodle for a year or two...

Hey! No! Of course not! I'm just aiming at stereotypes, nothing personal!
But have you ever been to Disney World in Florida? I've never seen so many fat people!
Actually, the burgers weren't /that/ bad...
Batty's House of Infinite Joy... Need we say more???
Batty_ACE Posted Apr 15, 2002
And just how many of them are actually Americans? Did you ask them?
Realistically speaking it is a problem here but it's a problem everywhere.. that and I find stereotypes offensive in general..

Hmmm.. let me see if I have this correct... you're making "fat American jokes" and the only two women on here right now are from America? Has anyone ever explaine to you the danger of using the word "fat" in front of a female before? (she says as she gets ready to Wargamer with the meat fork...)
