*turns down the covers, climbs into bed and...

the cat climbs up and sits on my head

spits out cat hair, shoves him over onto the other pillow, and snuggles down into the blankets and then *

*Studies the peaceful scene...fondly strokes the cat.."accidentally" removing a handful of fur*

Alarm call!!!

*Quietly exits*

* Clambers over the top of the veranda, slips over in a puddle of god-knows-what, finds himslef a while carefully not waking anybody up.

* Sits back and relaxes. Put's his feet up on a passing flonkey.

You know, the visibility is not great, even though
we're 25 stories up. The drizzle and fog are hiding
parts of the park.

Whatever. Batty is sure sleeping soundly. Okay,
the other day I said that she *needed* her beauty
rest, but I didn't mean she wouldn't be beautiful
without it. She would be. But what's beautiful
about fatigue?

* Decides to stay out of any conversations about women and beauty, as he's quite fond of having his testicles exactly where they are. Instead starts making paper airplanes and throwing them over the veranda.

*yawns, stretches and toddles slowly down the hall in search of , spitting out cat hair along the way* hey.. how'd the cat get in here?

'ning all..

*clips her hair up to get it out of her eyes, then steps gingerly over the sleeping gorilla to start b'fast for everyone*

*goes to the fridge and gets out some farm fresh eggs (no small feat in NYC), veggies, shrooms (the nonhallucinagenic sort - it is tax day in the US and everyone should suffer equally), veggies, cheese and some freshly ground and seasoned sausage then gets to work* cooking b'fast always wakes 'em up!

Um, remember those two hunks that
were in here the other night?
Well, the mad scientist next door
stayed up all night cloning them,
and this cat is the result.

Now we know why he's called a *mad*
scientist. You should have heard
him swear.

hmmmm... I thought he was a dentist..

Can I get you a gingerbread cafe con leche, dear?

*puts on the spiced Spanish espresso and steams some milk with vanilla in it*

Sounds wonderful.

Smells sublime, too.

(Gets ready for eggs and sausage)

*starts to sautee the veggies and such in a bit of butter and wine then puts the sausage on in another pan* how do you take your eggs, dear?

*shreds the cheese and puts it into a bowl just as the espresso finished on the stove* how do you take your coffee dear? Sugar? *pours some steamed vanilla milk into a cup and puts a shot of espresso over it*

I like scrambled eggs, thanks.

No sugar in the coffee.

would you like an omelette or a frittata then? Or just scrambled with the veggies?

*serves Paul his and some fresh fruit to nibble on while b'fast cooks*

I *thought* you were working on an omelet.
Either way is fine. Whatever you're making
for yourself would be fine with me.

* Walks in off the veranda.

I'll have milk and two sugars in my coffee please, or I can get my own if you're too busy?

Cheese omellete would be nice
