I like that one and the original Ashoka at the far end of Argyll St, across the road from my other favourite the Spice of Life.

How about picking one pub within easy reach of a station and then taking a train around the entire circumfrence of the underground system between every pint. The ultimate in pacing yourself.

LOL Hillhead Station would be ideal for that idea.
Plenty of good pubs within 2 minutes of the station.

Gnidow, blaaagh, flnow.
*takes contacts out* Ah, that's better, I was blind, but now I can blur.
It's for real this time EV, musta been the world's hottest garlic/chilli thingy polluting the pints. Bhopal here we come.

I think that curry was out to kill me yesterday. Either that, or the fact that I hadn't eaten very much all day, and the sudden onslaught of solid food shocked my system....
I'm fully recovered now, though. Well, from the curry, that is. Still dragged myself into work... On time...

I've made it, nearly on time, but I don't think I'll be setting any productivity records today. Beginning to feel distinct rumblings in the old alimentary tract. Watch out Clydebank, another gas leak seems imminent.

Hi folks - I made it too (with not too much of a hangover!) Glad you made it home safely Lost , was a bit worried!
So - today's plan is to terrorise the Glasgow Underground with the help of Caroline and Babel 17! Should be interesting
Will report back!

Watch out for those ticket machines!
Don't sleep on the subway Lyns...
Good advice coming from the guy who's having to get up and walk around every 10 minutes to stay awake.

I have to say that I'm experiencing the bliss of the caffeine kick of Cola at the moment. Feeling a bit better than I did this morning. But then, that could also mean that the Panadols I took this morning is setting in as well. Panadol on an empty stomach makes Lost a happy bunny.
Taxi ride home wasn't that bad. We only had to stop at about four different cash machines before I found one that would actually give me any money, but after that, it all went dandy.

Probably would depend if it was Clyde water or not.

I've got yer £20, Babel. I figure it was because I couldn't get any money out of any cash machine within a 200 yard radius from the Ashoka. Anyways, you'll get it back when I see you next time.

I know, LiS, I was only joking.
Gotta go back to Glasgow again today. Christ this is costing me in petrol, but then it is cheaper than taking the train. Just!
