they probably haven't developed the right system of killing us off yet

I'm sure you've all heard that Douglas Adams died.

I'm very excited cos i've been invited to bvsh house to road test bits of H2g2 and do questionnaires and be opinionated and stuff. Hoorayy! I shall lobby hard for the DONT PANIC button and a memorial to DNA. Perhaps a collectivley written article about the lovely bloke.
Have you seen the rules on H2g2 political chat? Not sure if the count in the UCB but we shall see. The Ridiculus forum under the rules is worth a read, if only for the Moxon Civil Service Scoop.
*I'm turing into a H2g2 gossip!***
Anyway, I have put a ranting post on the h2g2 bit of the political board, which may be a good way to get others into the idea of h2g2, and so we can warp thier minds a little.
Anyone for a cup of tea?

Would you like fizzy fake cola or fizzy vimto? I could fizz up yer tea if you like...
My life is improving rapidly, thank you. (Except for the weather.) I have a new job, a number of new blokes, two pairs if great new boots, and a newish pair of sandals, radically revamped for the summer. I'm off to Bush House nxt wk, off to Nottingham later today, and am going to a party on Saturday. I have lots of gr8 m8s, consume plenty of alcohol and chocolate and find the sky and earth mostly very good.
I'm able to make pancakes and other delicious eatables, and have access to excellent tea and coffee. I have a little sparkly box full of little sparkly hair grips, which pleases me.
I have ideas and opinions and points of view that some people seem to agree with and I generally enjoy nattering about in a relaxed kinda way. Trees and Flowers exist on my planet, as do zebras and spiders (I like spiders).
I'm generally an optomistic kinda gal, and I do beleive that the world and life is gradually improving, because it can if we live it with that attitude.
so to you and your heavy flatness. Fizz yerself up baby, go on you know you want to...
