Yeah, come to think - it's February already, for 4 minutes.

...*wonders who here knows how to take us to the Feb thread...*You know, in March it will be three entire years that I've had my imac and been an Official Hiker. I remember it as if it were yeasterday. My buddy Trent was playing with mac. He, never having seen an imac, and me never having access to one for more than a few minutes before librarians and professors threw me out, banning me from ever touching a 'puter that I hadn't paid for myselfself...ANYway, Trent was showing me how you could even type in nubmers in the address thingie...he just happened to type: h2g2...and ZOOM

I remember he hurriedly looked over the front page and sturnly told me to "wacth myself"...there's alot of weirdo stuff on the 'Net'...like that h2g2 place...that looked like a bunch of strange people hang out there...probably a cult or sumin'.
Geez...a guy who's known me his entire life outta' know...if he tells me NOT to go there...It's THE first place I'll be'a headin'!
It was DNA's 1st ANN....there was cake.
I recall eating my way thru & out the top. It seems the room with the cake was sorta' formal and all dignified... Then I
got, er, well, I sorta' lead people to eating their way into the cake.
I have absolutely no idea how many people fit in that cake but I do remember it was alot of fun. I also recall being taken into the underbelly of h2g2...into the kitchens.

Oh, yeah, I really like when one of my frineds call me, not like across the field, but like on the telephone from The UK or someplace and they'er all, like, go on, say sumpfhin' I donne get to 'ear an accent like yours that often as I 'ardly eava 'ear an American speaking. The way I see it...twas the Americans who kicked the English's a** all the way back across The Pond..
Wouldn't that make EVERYbody else the ones with the *ahem* accents?

Oh! I could find some reasons too... For example our dear friend €ngländer left h2g2 for good/ever in January. Maybe we really should turn the page. Erm, come to think, my b-day is in February - I won't like to skip it.
