And with the usual serverproblems I even did it twice.
Well, back to the drawing bord for the next question.

Some music this time.
More than 30 years ago Ronny, Roy and Bill started with Paddy.
Paddy and Bill left soon, Ronny and Roy went on for year after year.
Sadly Roy died some 10 years ago, Ronny still sells their CD's.
What was the name of the group?

My first reaction is The Small Faces - do I at least have the right Ronny??

My first reaction - well actually google's first reaction - was Bill Haley and the Comets. Even lost their sax player a few years back. But there's no Paddy.
Paddy! Has to be a Brit band.
But it ain't the Sex Pistols so I'm lost.
Good question though !
peace

Looks like you are all looking in the wrong direction (or am I that old).
I said "group", not "band".

Is it the BBC radiophonic workshop? I know Paddy Kingsland and Ron Grainer were in it.

It is difficult not to give everything away with a clue.
The previous one should have been enough.
They played bodrann, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, english guitar, whistle, flute, banjo, bouzouki, combolin, concertina, northumbrian pipes, boran and probably more next to singing.

You can call me TC Posted Mar 13, 2002
I'm livid with myself for not knowing this one straight off. Just wanted to say I'm back though. I haven't been anywhere - just not on line.
There's a jazz combo I can't think of the name of which had a Ronny in it ........... what was it?
