The Dawning of the day
The Corrie Folk Trio and Paddie Bell, Bill Smith, Roy Williamson and Ronnie Browne first met in 1955 when they attended The Edinburgh College of Art. In 1962 Bill, Roy and another friend, Ron Cockburn, formed the "Corrie Folk Trio". Their first performance was given at the Waverley Bar, in St Mary's Street, Edinburgh. At this time Ronnie Browne was not a member, but a few weeks later Ron Cockburn left, leaving the group short for an engagement they had accepted at the Edinburgh Festival.
Roy suggested that Ronnie be asked to join to make up the numbers, and, with the Irish singer Paddie Bell, they became known as the "Corrie Folk Trio and Paddie Bell". Their first performance at the tiny Tryst Coffee House on the High Street attracted only eight people, but by the end of the Festival they had a full house at every performance!
COMBOLINS
These unique instruments, (only two have ever been made) were designed by Roy Williamson of "The Corries", and are now owned by his friend of many years standing, Dave Sinton of Skerries Music.

My father used to play the concertina, banjo, bouzouki, mandolin, mandola, harmonica, english guitar and piano. He could not read music but played by ear.
Now for the question;
Arrange in order of origin from north east to south west, the following people: Actors Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins, Ray Milland, Catherine Zeta-Jones and singers Tom Jones, Sir Harry Secombe, Kylie Minogue and Bonny Tyler.

Is that supposed to be two lists then - one for the four actors and one for the four singers? Or should we interfold them them all into one grand design? And Sean Connery would be north of all of them right? And Sinead OConnor would be Northwest...

Ugh. Now the rules are clear, maybe I should have a go.
Uh. Too much work. I'll stick to pointing out that the verb "breath" is spelt "breathe".

I think I have asked enough questions the last days, so I just add another clue.
His real name was Richard Walter Jenkins, Jr. He took his professional name from his former schoolmaster, Philip Burton. He was born on November 19, 1925 in Pontrhydyfen, South Wales. He died on August 5, 1984 in Geneva, Switzerland of a brain hemorrhage. He was survived by his widow, Sally Hay Burton. He was previously married to
Sybil Williams (1948-1963)
Elizabeth Taylor twice ( 1964-1974 and 1975-1976)
Susan Hunt (1976-1982) from whom he was divorced in 1982

Sir Richard Burton is dead?
Well, that would explain why he hasn't been in many films lately.
Lordy! I wonder what else I missed in the 80s?
Because of disco and other 70s crappola I really turned off pop culture and info-tainment for a couple of decades.
Then, slowly but surely, music videos, the fall of the iron curtain, the Gulf War and the rise of the internet brought me out of my cave. George the Second may drive me back in.
