Maybe we're encouraging him in his
neglect, though. If he takes it for
granted that we'll keep coming back here,
then we're just patsies.
Very well, Gosho, I'm going to unsubscribe.
Sorry, folks.

I like being a patsie. Gives my life purpose!
Howdy Gosharoo Kid.
*leaves behind a plate of pasties for any other patsies who happen by*

Maybe if we post here obnoxiously often, Gosho will come back.
Granted, he mentioned on another thread his reasons for not posting here, and they are valid, but I have no problem with letting him know we miss him.

I don't see him in other threads so I have to assume one of the reasons is me. (Maybe he would like another cowboy name instead of Gosharoo Kid?)

No, the reason he left is that he wasn't posting on any fan clubs for the time being because he's spending his time working on some guide entries, and felt it would be very rude to post here without posting on any other fanclubs.
Not that any of us would think it was rude of him to post here without posting on any other fan clubs.

I think that's plain rude!
Actually, this is one of the fan clubs I look forward to reading. Gosho tends to have a good rant or two that leads to fascinating conversations. I miss them.

That's true. They've got to be every bit as important as the other stuff he's doing.

*elwood's imitation Gosho rant with bad fake British accent (with Texas twang)*
Why do people talk louder on cellphone conversations than they do in everyday normal coversations? I so infrequently get to eat dinner out with Blue Valentine and we inevitably get set next to a gaggle of young women who spend the entire meal speaking overly loud into their cells rather than to each other!
Just the other day there was at the store and there was some fellow walking around on his cellphone passing himself off as a Barry Manilow expert. The entire store could hear his conversation (and ignorance) He was clearly being given lyrics to "Weekend in New England" over the phone and he was saying it was "I write the songs". Bloody jeepers! I nearly had to squarsh his phone, and toss him out on his arse.
I think we should just make little glassed in booth and place them about out on the streets, then when someone needs to use their cells they just pop into one of these booth and have a trouble free conversation!
(I hope that satisfies everyone's Gosho deprivation)
