h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*flutter of wings
*GB lands on the beach, and the other party-goers stare in horror!
*Petunia runs up to GB and says "Oh, Galaxy Babe, whatever has happened to you!"
*GB stops sobbing and tells Petunia "I'm alright, it's just red paint. I wandered into the wrong Party! when I came back from RL and they were shooting each other with paint balls!"
*The girls all gather round GB sympathetically, each hugging her in turn. Soon they are all smeared with red paint.
Ox appears in front of GB and offers her a vodka jelly.
"Thanks, Ox. I'm OK now...." her voice tails off, and across the water, a strange sound can be heard.
"Shush, everyone, what's that noise?"
"Oh, it's that dolphin family I saw on the way here, they have followed me almost to shore! Quick, everyone! Into the water! We mustn't let them come any closer to the beach otherwise they'll drown!
*GB runs and dives into the water, followed quickly by the others.

*hits the water at the same time as GB, grinning*
*thinks*
Check another one of the lifelong ambitions list...

*Tweetie & GB reach the dolphins at the same time
*GB reaches out and touches the first one on its head.
*Tweetie swims further out until she reaches a smaller, spotted dolphin named Anenome
*GB starts to communicate telepathically with the leader.
*the dolphins stop swimming towards the shore and start to play with their new friends.
*Tweetie laughs as little Anenome starts to play tag with her.
*GB holds onto the dolphin leader's dorsal fin and allows herself to be propelled through the water at breakneck speed.
Tweetie: "Oh, what fun! I have always wanted to swim with dolphins!"

Aaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh

*birds leap skywards from the trees, elephants trumpet, lions roar*

*eats saunters in to the party, rising-sun headband and pictish tattoos covering his head*

*half empty coconut shell full of scotch clutched fiercely in his hand*

So......who wants to dance........?

Kiddo: Hey thanks Tweetie. Man, remind me never to drink again. What on earth was that all about Eatsmice?

Kiddo: What's everyone doing in the water? Ooh, dolphins.

*After having finished swimming with the dolphins, Tweet wandered out of the party, muttering something about changing*
*She stumbles back in, wearing a bright red bikini and teeny skirt*
I'll dance with you eats
Hey, you have scotch! Where'd you get that?
Nice tats by the way

*Sways rhythmically (drunkenly) on the sand.*

*eats dances around and then congas off towards the Yapong tribe hut, happily unaware that not one person is following him*

*stares after eats and shrugs*
Ok, back to the alcohol for me then...
*walks towards the table shouting*
MINE'S A GUINNESS!

Kiddo: I'm going back to the Cragi camp. See you all later.

*Walks off to camp*

* Hello!
* Somehow, Peaceful has found the party again!
Everybody seems to be asleep, or dancing, or swimming with the dolphins...

She begins to dance! Ah! the music... on a beautiful tropical beach, with good company [especially since they seem to have forgotten about the million dollar prize! ]... food, for a change...

But no Kes! Shame he couldn't make it, he'd probably have some nice things to say to people

She dances on... the dolphins can wait

Um ... hi.
Say, everyone's looking great!

*wades in from the sea
*tired but happy
The dolphins were happy to meet us, but they're all going home now.
Peaceful Earthling, the dolphin leader wants to talk to you. Just put your hand on his head and you'll hear his thoughts.
*flops down onto the sand
*cell-phone rings
*GB answers
Everyone gathers round GB with concern as GB starts to cry
"Whatever is the matter, GB?"
That was M.K* on the phone, Archangel Zax* has left h2g2. {sob}
I'm sorry, everyone, but the Party! is over for me, now.
Make your way back to your camps, when you're ready. I'll clear up the mess. {sob}

Left! What do you mean, left????!!!!

*collpases onto the sand in shock*

I've already seen. And he's deleted all his entries. Someone who can knocjk together a fancy-looking page shold start a Campaign To Return Zax* To H2G2

*GB surveys the beach, satisfied that it's clean and tidy, turns to Chrome and thanks him for his help.
