I can read Mark Twain out loud including the dialect. Which isn't nearly as scary as reading "The Scarlet Letter" out loud including the dialect.

::The music gets louder as the parade moves along the route::

smiley - musicalnoteOne, two, three, four, five, everybody's on the float,
So come on let's ride.
Down St. Charles and round the corner,
Up Canal where they get loose, but I really just wanna
Hear crowds like I did last week.smiley - musicalnote

*the crowd waves and yells for beads*

May I suggest moving New Orleans inland, like say, to the Baton Rouge vicinity? smiley - winkeye

I'm pretty sure it's the beads from past parades that has kept New Orleans from completely sinking.
