Never hurts to have several spare regional accents... I've mastered a few myself.

I have the generic American accent, the country accent, the Cajun accent and the Southern accent.

I have the genuine Midwestern American accent, fake Southern drawl, fake country bumpkin for comedy sake, fake Canadian, and fake Brit accent.... you never know what may come in handy. 
I would add Australian, but I've developed an allergy... of sorts.

Oh, and I do the fake French and fake Russian accent. You can't imagine how annoying this can become to innocent bystanders.
