God, what do you think about John's new suggestion for a patronage (PS of the technologically frustrated)? Kind of similar to Bruce's but not quite. I like it, but I think I need your approval for this.

I think if potential saints bother to come up with a patronage, I think it's best to go with that (obviously, unless it is mean spirited or vulgar). I think it gives a sense of ownership & identification. Besides it is less work for us...

Peter, that page sounds like a very good idea. However, by a strange coincidence, I just found this page at http://www.h2g2.com/A344756 which contains a lot of very useful links. It's almost done for us already. But if we want to make an Angel themed one, I can host that as well.

The links are very handy references, but what I was hoping for was a page that was specifically aimed at the complete novice researcher. Basically, a page which was part explanation of the some basic problems new-users encounter, and part a page with links to helpful pages with text describing why they might want to visit. A virtual one-stop-shop, written with new-users in mind...
