Time to decorate the tree!

I haven't read the hootoo message yet.
The haiku idea sounds cool...
As does this recipe -
Mint Julep
Refrigerate overnight; a bottle of bourbon (large enough for everyone in the party), three large bottles of water (still or fizzy, no matter), and a jug of sugar syrup (equal parts of sugar and water heated until water is dissolved - do not boil).
Buzz 1/4 of a bottle of brandy and two handfuls of fresh mint leaves in the blender, and put 1.5 fingers (the width of two digits, on the end of your hand silly) Of this mix in the bottom of a tall glass.
Add a triple bourbon, a shot of sugar syrup to taste, fill the glass with chunky ice cubes, top with icy cold water, add a zest of lemon and some whole mint leaves (make it look really jungly) and sip elegantly through a straw.
Drink on Christmas Day (bourbon was invented by a parson). After a couple of these, frankly you won't give a damn

An utterly sick and miserable [C ], only here because her head is too stuffed to write coherent theoretical prose. *sniff*
I brought lots of ornaments--my personal collection of kitty cat ornaments (home is where the cat is is my favorite one), my wizard of oz ornaments, some of my mother's prettiest glass balls (on loan), rasaquache ornaments from the museum shop, and one of those gorgeous ornaments from the Metropolitan Museum's Xmas catalog I always wanted.
Celestial Seasonings Christmas tea, and presents for all from the museum shop! Maybe I will itemize these presents later if I have the time and creativity.
For now, a <> of tea, vitamin C, and an oxygen tank, please, Matina?
And maybe the tree would be a good juncture to start a new thread, as I am at the point where I am getting error messages--Christmas at Lil's (27Xth conversation at Lil's)?
Yes you have--the hootoo message she refers to is in the ad banner! Can anyone tell me where DNA tells us we're nuts? Thanks for the recipe, Odra--I will cook as soon as my cooking will not be a way of spreading infections.
Kathy

CChick is right. As soon as the thread length becomes an inconvenience we should make another. And so I have! http://www.h2g2.com/F38024?thread=94421&post=779581
