There are a fair number of owls in HP. They carry mail. Hedwig? The owl of Harry himself?

How about GL as Sirius Black - Harry's godfather, who is an Animagus and can change into a big black hairy dog?

Hmm... a toss up between Rincewind, Bloody Stupid Johnson and Professor Snape for me.

I suppose I will go as Professor Snape, as I think the actor playing him in the movie is perfect for the role.
