I was merely using my natural ability to spot innuendo in anything and craft an appropriate humourous response on the spot. My supervisor thought that this was going to be innapropriate if it happened in front of new students or their parents, so I was banished.
Oh, and I did take off my t-shirt and throw it to a fresher while on the job, but there was a good reason for that. I forget what it is though...

ohh, we've got this south african lecturer and ok so he's not repulsive, but he insists on wearing trackpants all the time and that is, but his voice is just so sexy I'm glad I knew all of what he was suposed to be teaching us in the lecture the other day as I spent most of it just pondering the sexyness of his voice.

It wasn't so much seemed like a good idea, as an appropriate one. It would take too much background info for any of it to make sense. The guy I threw it to was quite attractive, but I'm fairly sure that had nothing to do with it. The last thing I want to do to a potential partner is show off my spare tyre before we've even spoke...
