Aha! My rejection letter from Oxford University came today! (I went to interview there Sunday 15th to Tuesday 18th December)
I was thoroughly expecting a rejection, because I did absolutely terribly in the interviews, so I would like to say nah nah to everyone who told me otherwise.

Warwick is my first choice, and it was even when I stood a chance of getting into Oxford. Only by a very slight margin though. Durham may or may not challenge Warwick, depends what I think when I get there.
Durham interview at the end of January SM!
And I'm certain I never told you you'd get in.

I applied to all three, got my oxford rejection letter framed and everything . Now I'm at Nottingham and I don't think I regret my decision. I do regret doing a physics degree though. A lot of work involved...
I remember enjoying my trip to Oxford, and I'm still sort of in contact with some of the people I met there. Did you have a good time at Oxford Ming?
Hope you enjoy your Durham trip, mine was pretty cool too .

Would you like me to get some quotes, Ming?
I didn't meet anyone new at Oxford when I visited. Liked trhe place, though.

I didn't either. The JCR wasn't exactly inspiring - loads of chairs, sofas, and a TV. I don't watch TV much, so I didn't go in.

I only went in the JCR to check for interview times and such. I wondered around Oxford most of the rest of the time, or did some revision (fat lot of good that that did) or talked to Ming.
Heh, spent a decent amount of time at your college, didn't I?

oooh, simulposting, how exciting!!!! *small but not vicious hint of sarcasm* I haven't done this in yonks.
Which college did you go to Ming?
Also it occurs to me that if you have the facilities (i.e MSN messenger), we could be chatting right now. Do you have such facilities?

Yes, I do have M$N HP... but I you don't appear to be on h2g2 any more anyway... If you wander back this far in backlog next time you're around, e-mail me here: [email protected] and I'll give you my ID.
I went to St Hugh's (though I applied to St John's and got shifted).
In Durham I'm going to St Hild&Bede, having been shifted from University College. Where are you going Clelba?
